I actually wanted another STD for us, but due to our budget issues i made this bookmark kind of STD. I'm just so happy with the outcome. I got the picture from our last vacation in Laiya Batangas, and that's the only good shot we have. I just want to present our Save the Date that i made.. tsyaraaan!!

Since we are having an outdoor reception, i am soo fishing for a set up that really makes our big day a hit!
We booked Paco Park already as our reception venue, and found out that aside from their P10k venue fee there's an additional 25% of the caterer's fee to be added on the payment. Aside from that, the place was not exclusive for us, because it's a park and open for people who come and visit the place, and another thing, since the chapel is in the middle of the park, another wedding is possible on our date. So, I'm looking again for an alternative, i mean Plan B and found Casa Manila Patio, it has a rate of P17k plus 10% of the caterer's fee but when we inquired, our date wasn't available. And now we are still hoping that we could find an affordable venue for our wedding.. Here's more Manila Reception Venues from Weddings@work.. METRO MANILA

Even tho haven't have a gown yet, i just wanna share some of the pumps i've been eyeing.. Slingback pumps is really a retro thing.. Seeing these Christian Louboutin colorful 5" heel makes me weep! haha! My bridesmaid will definitely look gorgeous with these shoes on! This colorful pumps will definitely kick some a** on my Retro themed wedding! haha..
It's a heart month again, and valentines day has come.. some girls were so excited and some don't. Me? it's just an ordinary day for me.. but deep inside me, wishing i could spend the day with Terense. We never celebrate it coz we are in a long distance relationship, we usually just greet each other "happy hearts day." But this valentines day was different.. he was asking me how he could be able to date me.. I thought it was just an ordinary statement but it wasn't, when i get home from work i usually open first my fb and saw the dates he was telling me.. lol.. it was the date we had before.. he actually made a vid for me singing "marry me" .. I am so speechless and was just smiling while watching all the entire vid.. sobrang kilig to the bones. I know he really made an effort doing it coz it wasn't his genre and it's really difficult to sing and play in the guitar.. It just made my valentines day.. awesone.. I wanna post also the other song he played that day.. it's "Lovers Moon" dedicated to all.. this one is my fave.. but they wasn't really that serious on this.. but you'll like it for sure.. I've been thinking of what bridal car to use on my wedding.. I know there's a lot of car rentals out there and yes even a vintage one.. and since my wedding theme is Retro, I surely wanna use a vintage car. But renting a vintage car is sooo expensive! The Cadillac is my most fave!!! and yes, it's the most expensive as well... how i wish i can ride that car.. :) For inquiries:Facebook account: Jca bridal website: www.bridalclassiccars.com For reservation Please call tel: (02)724 1398 CEL. 09159275464 I really love classic cars! I love beetle bug VW.. I'm thinking of getting this as my bridal car, but the prob is.. i don't think my gown will match this bug.. but i lurve it! It will match my Retro-themed wedding~ Love the old feeling while looking at all of this cars. This is actually not for a rent car, yes, that's the reason why i can rent this.. the owner were selling it, so if you're interested visit sulit.com for more info.. I saw this Classic Mercedez Benz that's for rent in sulit.com, and i think this is the only car that fits our budget.. and Last... but not the least. Found this bride and groom car pic at Facebook.. It really kick ass!!
forgot where i google it.. i just don't own this pic.. Since we already have a theme for our wedding, it's easy now to pick the color that matches it.. Retro is fun and funky, so i have to choose something that favors my theme.. and here's what i came up... I think Yellow, Peach, and aqua will definitely kick ass our Retro themed wedding.. Ans since our Reception is outdoor, it has a feeling of rustic air, and rustic and retro is a good combination for my theme right?? whoah! Every piece of an idea is coming little by little.. I can't wait to fill my wedding preparation with those great piece of idea.. I am sooooo inlove with this picture... What if i add some limegreen and pink color on my palette?? And with these DIY fabric flowers, everyone of my girls will be sooo lovely and adorable..
via Retro Photo Finally, after so many theme that's running through my head, I am so happy to say that we are going to have a Retro-themed wedding. Yeheyyy!!! haha.. Me and Terense don't want our wedding to be too formal and yet not too informal either.. We just want it to be fun, crazy, funky and colorful, something like US.. I am so excited and thrilled to plan every single bit of the details of our wedding.. Here's some pix of our wedding inspiration.. soooo love the bow tie and the "i do" adorable plate.. Whatta pose for a sepia pic? with those vintage car, hell yeah! Really cool shoes they both have..
Since I will make DIY’s on most of my wedding flowers, especially corsages and boutonnieres, I want to know if I’m capable of making this stuff. So I searched for many tutorials in YouTube, and found lots of fabric flowers tutorials. Yesterday as I get bored at work, I thought of making flowers when I saw a fabric that we actually used in cleaning our desk area, it’s actually a good fabric, looks like white jute sacks. So what I did was I cut it into strips, about an inch then i make some fold at the end of the strips and start folding it to make a bud of rose i just continue folding till i reached the end of the strips. Oh don't forget to use hot glue gun so that it won't break apart. You can do bigger folds but i want it just like that. i put chip board at the back of the flower so that it will holds the flower and can easily put to anywhere you like. Voila! My mini fabric flower! Practice makes perfect.. :) I think, I perfected it on my 3rd rosette. I just put it on a leaf fabric to emphasize the rosette that i made.. I've been thinking what design of the boutonniere that i will make for my wedding.. hmnn.. Pardon the pic i look like so weird.. lol.. Me and Terense were actually arguing about this last year. I told him that the Pamamanhikan will be set soon after we got engaged, but since we are planning to get married by Dec 2012, this year, for him it's kinda early for that. For me, the pamamanhikan is about having this blessing from our families, so that i can actually say it's official 'we are getting married!" But of course, if he thinks it's early then i can wait for it naman.. (ng nakasimangot!) LOL! JK! When he met our OTD Charise, he was asked if the Pamamanhikan was already been made, and he told her that he thought it's early for that matter. But Charise explained that the Pamamanhikan is actually set before planning the wedding, and is not only for having an official engagement but of having the blessing of both families and guidance as well as we plan the wedding. Thank you xo much Charisse! :p So mas mabisa si Charisse kesa saken.. lol.. In short, the Pamamanhikan was planned and set on my birthday but due to some things, it was moved to December 30, 2011. I wasn't really excited nor nervous about it. Me and Terense doesn't have a big family, so i was expecting a small family gathering lang like lunch or dinner over our house.. So the day has come, my mom cooked her especialty and so was Terense family. I really feel busy that day, and finally they arrived late lunch time and the food poured all over. Nagsalosalo kame sa isang napakasarap na tanghalian. After eating i felt so awkward coz no one knew what to say nor what to do next but Terense mom was cool enough to crack some jokes every once and a while. My mom was just quiet and let my dad do the talking, finally they were able to talk about our plan, the wedding, and everyone's cool about it. It was just a simple but yet makes me happy that at last i can finally step forward with confidence and a smile on my face that I'm so really getting married! yeah! :p |
